The 2008 Water Reuse in Agriculture Conference will be held October 26–28, 2008 at the Monterey Plaza Hotel in downtown Monterey, CA. The conference is cosponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and wwill explore the beneficial use of recycled water to meet agricultural needs.

The Monterey Regional Water Pollution Control Agency will be the local host for the event. A tour of local agricultural facilities which use recycled water is planned for the first day, followed by two days of sessions. MRWPCA operates the world’s largest water recycling facility designed for raw food crop irrigation.
