New Webcast to Discuss Onsite Water Reuse
May 3, 2013

A new webcast will be presented May 22 that provides insight into three innovative examples of onsite water reuse. Presented by the WateReuse Association’s Industrial Reuse Committee, the webcast will explore the opportunities and challenges of onsite water reuse trough discussions of a decentralized water reuse and cooling system integration project, a treatment plant that provides recycled water to cool a nuclear generating station, and a technology that can keep the brine from water softeners out of wastewater.

New WateReuse Section Created in the Pacific Northwest

The WateReuse Association’s Board of Directors recently accepted WateReuse Pacific Northwest as the seventh local Section of the Association. The new Section will focus on local legislative and regulatory issues in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska—and is the first WateReuse Section to include multiple states.

Conference to Explore Water Recycling in the Asia Pacific Region

WateReuse Australia is partnering with the Australian Water Association and the Water Services Association of Australia to present the Asia Pacific Water Recycling Conference 2013 on July 1-4 in Brisbane Australia. Leaders and decision-makers from across Australia and the Asia Pacific will participate.
