The WateReuse Association is pleased to announce that the 24th Annual WateReuse Golf Tournament will be held September 13, 2009 at Foster Links Golf Course located just south of Seattle in Tukwila, WA.
A Northwest tradition since 1925, Foster Links has provided entertainment for generations of golfers. The golf course, with its walkable length and user-friendly layout, is perfect for the tournament golfer. It is exciting for the better player, while the inexperienced golfer will not be intimidated. The course is bordered by the meandering Duwamish River, offers views of wildlife and two Par 3 holes requiring the golfer to hit over the river.
In 2004, a dramatic remodel included the construction of a new clubhouse and renovations of the golf course including new tees, the rebuilding and addition of several greens and the rebuilding of the 10th fairway. All of the changes were done with a look to the future. They began the transition of irrigating the course with reclaimed water this year.
The tournament will begin with the first tee time at 10:00 am. The entry fee covers transportation to the course, greens fees with cart, drinks, lunch at the course, door prizes, gift bag, closest to the pin contests, a longest drive contest, and team prizes based on final scores.
