WateReuse Florida Holds Workshop on UV for Wastewater and Reuse
The "UV for Wastewater and Reuse Workshop," which will be held in Orlando, FL on March 18, 2008, will provide tools and resources to implement cost- and performance-effective UV systems as reliable treatment technologies for waterborne pathogens.
WateReuse Florida has teamed with the International Ultraviolet Association (IUVA) and the National Water Research Institute (NWRI) to hold this workshop, which will cover public health protection, provide an overview of the technology and design, and cover operational aspects such as pretreatment, commissioned, and troubleshooting. Featured speakers include Dr. Jim Crook, a nationally-known water reuse consultant, and Dr. James Malley, a UV-expert, with the University of New Hampshire.
