The WateReuse Research Foundation’s 2012 Annual Report details a year of incredible success. Fifteen new research projects were commissioned, totaling nearly $2.6 million in contract awards. In addition to increasing the body of scientific research, adding to the library of reports and data, and introducing new educational programs, the Foundation has established itself as the leading authority to address direct potable reuse (DPR) in California, the results of which will have national implications as water scarcity has impacted most of the US in recent years.
