Research Conference Highlights New Trends
The WateReuse Foundation showcased the results of "cutting edge" research during the 13th Annual Water Reuse & Desalination Research Conference held at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach, CA on May 18-19. The conference included more than 25 presentations in a "single track" program, providing a focused and unique opportunity for attendees to learn about new developments and trends emerging from current and ongoing research.
Foundation to Release RFPs for New Solicited Projects
The Foundation will release six new Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in the coming months for new projects under the Solicited Research Program. The Board approved the projects for funding at its March 6 meeting in Las Vegas, NV.
New Project Manager Joins Foundation Staff
A new project manager, Julie Minton, joined the WateReuse Foundation staff on June 1. Julie has a B.A. in biology from St. Mary's College of MD. She has worked as a researcher at the National Institutes of Health and at a middle school teaching life science. Julie will manage research projects on behalf of the Foundation.
Board Approves New Solicited Research
The Foundation's Board of Directors approved six new projects for funding under the 2009 Solicited Research Program during its March 6 Board meeting in Las Vegas, NV. Requests for Proposals will be released for the new projects in the coming months.
New TC Projects Approved
The Foundation's Board of Directors approved three new Tailored Collaboration (TC) projects at its March 6 meeting. The TC program provides Foundation Subscribers with matching funding for research studies. For more information about the TC program, click here.
New RFPs Coming Soon
The Foundation will release several new Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in early 2009 under the Solicited Research Program. To receive notifications of newly released RFPs via e-mail, click here.
New RAC Members Appointed
The Foundation's Board of Directors appointed seven new members to the Research Advisory Committee (RAC) during its November 19 meeting. The RAC provides scientific and technical guidance for the Foundation's research program. The RAC also recommends a slate of projects for funding.

Foundation Funds Three Unsolicited Projects
The Foundation Board selected three projects to be funded under the 2008 Unsolicited Research Program during its September 9 meeting. The Unsolicited Research Program funds projects proposed by researchers.
Foundation Convenes Successful Conference
The Foundation convened the 12th Annual Water Reuse & Desalination Research Conference on May 5-6 at the Westin Tabor Center in Denver, CO. The conference featured more than 30 presentations on "cutting edge" research topics.
