Foundation Renamed the WateReuse Research Foundation

Effective May 24, 2010, the WateReuse Foundation has changed its name to the WateReuse Research Foundation. The Board of Directors inserted the word "Research" to emphasize the nature of the Foundation's work. The Research Foundation continues to operate under the same mission, which is to conduct and promote applied research on water reuse and desalination.

New 2010 Research Projects Announced

The WateReuse Research Foundation's Board of Directors approved nine new Solicited Research projects for funding at its March 16 meeting in Washington, DC. Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for the new projects will be released through August 2010.

Board Approves New Research Studies

The Foundation's Board of Directors recently approved two new innovative projects. The new research includes a Tailored Collaboration project with El Paso Water Utilities titled Continuous Flow Seawater RO System for Recovery of Silica-Saturated RO Concentrate and an Unsolicited project titled Development of New Tracers for Determining Travel Time Near MAR Operations
