ALEXANDRIA, VA – The WateReuse Association, the American Water Works Association, and the Water Environment Federation will host the 22nd Annual WateReuse Symposium September 9-12, 2007 at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina in Tampa, FL. The theme is Water Reuse and Desalination: Bright as the Florida Sun.

The Symposium has become the world's preeminent conference devoted to water reuse and desalination and has set a new attendance record each year. The WateReuse Association is accepting abstracts for technical presentations. Those interested in presenting should submit an abstract through the online Abstract Submittal Form by January 25, 2007 by visiting www.watereuse.org/2007Symposium.html.

Abstracts can only be submitted through the website. The corresponding author designated on the Abstract Submittal Form will be notified of acceptance or rejection by March 9, 2007. Acceptance is contingent on receipt of a completed paper by June 8, 2007.

Technical sessions will be devoted to such leading edge and diverse topics as micropollutants, desalination, indirect potable reuse, operational issues, public outreach, and global water reuse. Interactive forums focusing on user issues and regulatory matters will be held in intimate settings designed to encourage discussion and debate. There will also be receptions, an awards luncheon, and technical tours of innovative water reuse projects.

The 22nd Annual WateReuse Symposium will be held at a bay front property in the heart of downtown Tampa. The Waterside Hotel is part of the Channelside District, which includes the Ice Palace, the Port of Tampa, an IMAX theater, fine restaurants, and a variety of clothing and gift stores.
