State Section Members
-
Annual Dues:$250
When an organization joins the Association, the organization becomes a member of both the entire Association and the local State Section and a portion of the member's dues are allocated to local efforts. The local WateReuse Section is known as the member's Primary State of Membership. If the member company is located in a state or country that does not have a local section or division, the company may designate, if it chooses, a different state or country for their Primary State of Membership or Primary Division of Membership.
Many companies have multiple locations and are interested in joining additional State Sections. Each Associate Member may designate an additional minimum of $250 per year to other State Sections to be recognized as a member in good standing of those State Sections.
State sections have an important role because of their unique ability to focus on local legislative, regulatory, and funding issues. As a member of a Section, a company has voting privileges in Section matters and will be listed in the membership directory as a member of the Section or Division. The company will designate a representative for the State Section who will receive correspondence on state section issues, gain access to the member only areas of the website, and receive a subscriptions to the quarterly WateReuse Association journal and newsletter.
Companies may only select additional State Sections if their company is already a current Associate Member. If your company is not already a current member, please use the Associate Member application. To check if your company is a member, e-mail membership@watereuse.org.
