How to Join
To join the WateReuse Association, you may download a PDF application that can be mailed or faxed. Select the appropriate membership category for your organization. Member benefits include education, advocacy, networking opportunities, and access to the latest research on water reuse and desalination through the WateReuse Foundation.
Agency/Water Supplier Members
Public agencies, municipalities, and invester-owned or privately owned utilities that have an interest in the objectives and purposes of the Association are eligible to join. Each Agency/Water Supplier Member shall designate a Primary Representative and up to two Alternate Representatives.

Associate Members
Consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, organizations, firms, and businesses that have an interest in the objectives and purposes of the Association are eligible to join. Each Associate Member shall designated a Primary Representative and up to two Alternate Representatives.

State Section Member
When an organization joins the Association, the organization becomes a member of both the entire Association and the local State Section if there is one. Each Associate Member may designate an additional minimum of $250 per year to other State Sections to be recognized as a member in good standing of those State Sections. If your company is not already a current member, please use the Associate Member application.

Affiliate Members
Universities, schools, departments and agencies of federal, state, county, or local governments which do not qualify as an Agency/Water Supplier may join as an Affiliate Member. Each Affiliate Member shall designate a Primary Representative and up to two Alternate Representatives.

Individual Members
The membership structure of the WateReuse Association is primarily organizational. However, an employee of a member organization may join as an individual.*
Individual members affiliated with a member organization/company receive the quarterly journal and print newsletter in the mail, are listed in the membership directory, and have full access to all member areas of the website. An individual member from a member company becomes an additional representative from the member company. If the member company does not renew, the individual membership may not be renewed.

Student Members
Full-time university students are eligible to join. Students may be admitted for membership under this category upon proof of current student body status at a recognized educational institution.

*Others
Individuals interested in the purposes and objectives of the Association and not affiliated with an entity that qualifies as an organizational member; and associations (trade organizations, professional organizations and foundations/institutions) may petition the Board of Directors to be enrolled as a member. Such individuals and associations shall be enrolled as a member only if the Board of Directors determines there is a net benefit to the Association by granting membership.
