 <title>Board Approves New Research Studies </title>

The new research includes a Tailored Collaboration project with El Paso Water Utilities titled Continuous Flow Seawater RO System for Recovery of Silica-Saturated RO Concentrate and an Unsolicited project titled Development of New Tracers for Determining Travel Time Near MAR Operations

 <title>New Research Reports Available</title>

 <description>The Foundation recently released the results from several new studies. The reports include a manual for collecting and interpreting microbiological data, a study on the effects of salinity on the treatment of reclaimed water, an assessment of water quality for desalination systems, and a water quality study that compared reclaimed water to other types of water.

 <description>The WateReuse Foundation showcased the results of &amp;amp;quot;cutting edge&amp;amp;quot; research during the 13th Annual Water Reuse &amp;amp;amp; Desalination Research Conference held at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach, CA on May 18-19. The conference included more than 25 presentations in a &amp;amp;quot;single track&amp;amp;quot; program, providing a focused and unique opportunity for attendees to learn about new developments and trends emerging from current and ongoing research.

 <title>New Project Manager Joins Foundation Staff</title>

 <description>A new project manager, Julie Minton, joined the WateReuse Foundation staff on June 1. Julie has a B.A. in biology from St. Mary&amp;#039;s College of MD. She has worked as a researcher at the National Institutes of Health and at a middle school teaching life science. Julie will manage research projects on behalf of the Foundation.
